Shady Meetings, Unlawful Acts, and One Ballsy Tech Blogger

Shady Meetings, Unlawful Acts, and One Ballsy Tech BloggerI've never met TechCrunch's Michael Arrington, but I'm pretty sure he has cojones the size of Texas. How could he not after crashing a secret meeting, realizing that his friends might be committing federal crimes, and still writing about it?

The piece Arrington wrote describes how he was tipped off that the "highest profile angel investors in Silicon Valley" were having a secret dinner meeting, how he tried to crash it only to be snubbed entirely, and what he learned afterwards. The piece is quite fair and Arrington deserves a pat on the back for writing it knowing the trouble it can stir up—both for his friends and the community of angel investors.

I recommend giving the piece a read. It's full of cloak and dagger intrigue and odds are high that we'll hear more about it. [TechCrunch]
