According to a report from the Italian newswire service ANSA, Pope Francis will make his grand entrance on Instagram on Saturday, March 19th, under the handle @Franciscus. The Earth-shaking piece of intel reportedly came from Dario Viganò, Prefect for Communications, during an appearance on Vatican Radio on Tuesday.

With the whole rest of the week left before Pontifex starts posting, we can only guess at what his first picture will be. Breakfast? The Sistine Chapel? His undoubtedly sick closet? A selfie with Tim Cook? We’ll just have to wait and see.

We’ve reached out to the Vatican for confirmation, which, let me tell you, was not what I thought I would be doing on a Tuesday afternoon at 5 o’clock.
