@Boots_Mcoy: Yes. I use the pirate bay more and for other things frost wire. But, iTunes is basically ASKING people to pirate music by raising their prices.

@Boots_Mcoy: Who still seriously uses Limewire? The only time I ever see Limewire or BearShare on a PC is when I'm removing that person's spyware and viruses.

Actually, it seems like, if anything, this article is proving the opposite: that people want their music, and they're willing to do anything, even pay for it, to get it.
I'm moving to Jamendo permanently. Anybody care to join me?

@mxpxrobbie: Actually, I just point them to legal ways to get the music, etc. I tell them that they can either get it legally, without worry of viruses, or they can keep pirating it and call me every couple weeks and spend a hell of a lot more money on repairs then the music actually costs. It usually works too.
If they don't know how to use a computer smartly, then they should not be delving into the gray areas of the internet.
