If you exercise your constitutional rights to own firearms, it is also your responsibility to keep them out of the hands of children and thieves.
Any gun safe is better than none. A big, heavy safe that can't be moved is better tan most.
Sure, this is really large. However, a safe that large usually takes up a lot of floor space - this is simply a good way to have a safe (that you *need* if you have guns) and not lose any floor space because of it.
Please don't talk shit about people who own guns and keep them locked up. Would you rather your neighbor keep his guns locked away, or just lying around the house? Reply

@tackett:
i d rather have neighbours without guns at all.
brings the "omg my neighbours five year old found a gun and shot his brother / my kid" moments down to zero. Reply

@Redwraithvienna: ie, the stupid gun owner. I agree with tackett on this one. Smart gun owners are safe gun owners, and in this case, gun safe owners as well.

@tackett: there has to be a better place to hide your guns then under your bed. I would wage thats the first place someone would look for shit because its so obvious.

@hadees: This thing isn't just "under the bed" though. It's more like, inside the bed. Plus, it's got locks. Just keep the key away from the kids and there will be no problems.

@Redwraithvienna: And where would we bring the "omg someone broke into my house and shot my wife/son/daughter/me" arguments down to?
Or the "OMG Some prick in a suit thought the plant I had growing in my farm was marijuana even though it wasn't and broke into my house to arrest me for something that isn't illegal causing my 70 year old wife to have a heart attack and die" argument?
This actually happened. Guns are horrible. But as long as other people have them I will too. I won't be caught needing one to protect myself and not having it because some other person thinks they should be banned while the criminals who use guns to murder or the corrupt officials of various Countries who use them to gain power over someone don't give a $#% about such laws.
If we lived in a world where people didn't kill other people for pennies or jealousy or what ever other motivations.. then I'd be the first in line to give mine up.
