this update does absolutely NOTHING for macs. read the release notes, the improvements are for windows and linux only.

@RoseHizang: well i can quantifiably say that it does SOMETHING -- on my 2.0GHz Core Duo Macbook, I went from just under 10fps at 86% CPU on UIMark to just over 11fps at 82% CPU.
A 10% increase in frame rate with a 5% decrease in CPU usage on Intel GMA950 is definitely measurable, though I don't think it's the night-and-day that some people are claiming. Reply

@RoseHizang: H.264 acceleration is Windows-only, not Linux or Mac. But there's still some improvement across the board. #flash101hacktintosh

@RoseHizang: This article is correct, that the Mac version does NOT include video acceleration. The Mac version DOES, however, include all the OTHER speed performance boosts that Flash Player 10.1 has in store for us, all in preparation for the 10.1 mobile player. #flash101hacktintosh
