I have loved Patlabor and Gundam and stuff like that since I was a kid, and for all the military themes those shows had, all the tech designs coming out in reality along the "Mecha" line are for saving lives and property instead.

I only saw 1 real mech type vehicle so far not designed for rescue and it is that John Deere logging "insect" walker. (Aside from the 1950's G.E. "Handyman" forklift exoskeleton, more of a vehicle considering it's size.)

Most of the stuff on Ebay I got was misrepresented. I kept winding up with fake DVDs, sometimes just a DVD-RW with a label done in sharpie.

They also suddenly claimed after months of activity that my bank account does not exist, kicked me off and charged me a ton of fees that went to collection despite months of me calling asking WTF without them responding.

This is the same account I use (frequently) for PayPal, isn't PayPal Ebay owned?

Those things do filter out crap, a Pur faucet filter in an area with "clean" water still gets so much heavy particulate matter that it actually feels different going down.

I will not be sated until I play a game of Tetris where the blocks are played by live Chihuahuas, who are trained to take the shapes of the pieces. And they bark the music and sound fx while I am playing.

I tried doing a Dr. Mario with painted chickens, but they got pissed after a while and ganged up on me and chased me around.

I was looking at the setup of most satellite and cable boxes, with the multi IR receiver "eyes" that seem to be overkill for a simple remote, I was thinking they are trying that already, if not in full area sensory, but at least in eyeball tracking in relation to screen (to see what is being looked at, like a lightgun from the arcade) and number of eyes watching.

After all, you already have minor output to transmit real time feedback with cable/sat and why the hell would they need 3 IR eyes for one simple remote?

Deathmatch? Playing the first one today, I thought of "Condemned -Deathmatch" as a joke.

And emphasize the enemies as victims of a mad-cow disease like neurological disorder instead of "bums". It makes the game sound cooler (which it is) intstead of "Bumfights- the game".

Reminiscent of a Silent Hill monster.

I always thought mechanized quadruped or biped movement systems would look like something from Front Mission or Heavy Gear, but it looks like they are doing the designs from Hideo Kojima games like Metal Gear and Zone of the Enders - as in the "cloven hoof" design of feet.

I still bet any biped model will have to have wide feet with "toes".

Maybe they should use game consoles and mod them for simluations, from the sims I have seen, the graphics look like 12 year old arcade games. The PS2 would have been a visual improvement on them.
