Yeah I loved that show as a kid. My dad took me to Ida Grove IA for the Byron show almost every year. It was awesome to see in person.

As I understood it was a malfunction of servo(s) on one of the flying surfaces that sent the plane into an unrecoverable downward attitude; and in a model that big, once an attitude like that is reached there is NO recovery; either it will go straight into the ground like the B-52 did or even if you recover in time, with a model of that size it would tear itself apart before it could pull out of the dive.

Unfortunately its the nature of armature R/C model building. I have seen many, many a large model go into the ground. This was especially true at events like the Byron Originals "striking back" show that used to take place in Iowa every year. Although it was a "staged" event and always spectacular, there were always sooooo many very large models in the air at any one time (Zeros, corsairs, B-25s, a B-29 ect....ect) that mid-airs and radio problems happened all too often:

If you want the 60Gb cap you can go with the Premier package and that will get you not only the 60Gb limit, but 10 - 20 megabits per second down stream and 2 megabits per second Up.

Cox has a monopoly where I am on coax. The only other choice around here is XDSL from Quest - No thank you.
I have yet to see ANYONE except one guy that I know get throttled by Cox -
(HA! I said "throttled by cox") and he was hosting quite a few torrents; and over 1000 people a month were hitting them for a month or 2 straight. I'm not 100% sure what package he had but I know it wasn't the Premier package.

I'm sure like ALL large R/C planes and all real test planes as well, all initial test are done GEAR DOWN to prevent issues with sticky retracts or problems getting the gear down while testing the flying functionality of the airframe.

I'm 100% sure this airframe has retracts on it. I'm also sure that once the first round of flight testing is over (or maybe even sooner) they will be doing operational flight tests with the gear up.

It was a joke not a typo. Almost getting to the "will it blend" stage....

Quite a few of my friends are women and I sometimes wish I was in the fly-on-the-wall scenario so I could find out what they talk about when guys are not around.

It's funny though, Sara, one of my close longtime friends busted me several times looking at her "girls".
I have always fancied myself a butt-and-leg man, and as such was adamant about it to Sara. She argued that like most (straight) men, I am fascinated by tits.
I highly disagreed, then one night we decided to go out together and have a couple drinks, she came strolling into our neighborhood hangout one night wearing a low cut V top and a cute little short skirt; Lord help me.
I've known Sara for 15 yrs or more, she's a tall girl 6'0, long legs, with long med brown hair and natural 34(large)C ish breasts.(never slept with her though which is weird because I seem to make a bad habit of occasionally sleeping with my female friends, although it has yet to ruin any friendships)and on this night, I didn't know it but she wore that low cut V top and no bra to prove a point; that I was just as interested in a great pair as the next hetero guy:
