The 360 headset had terrible sound quality and has lamentable battery life. The cool thing about this one is:
1) Its a freaking MGS4 headset
2) Its not bogged down by the console, you can use it with any bluetooth device.

Its good but at 130 bucks it just seems like too much. I'd much rather get a wired headset. Sure its not all Bluetoothy but it's a hellova lot cheaper and sounds better.

I got an estimate. Given that the device is 2.6" wide and the screen ratio is 480/320 (1.5), I would say that the screen size is around 2.7 to 3.0 inches diagonal.

Though I find it annoying that Microsoft is trying to get more share on a charity project, its damn good business tactics. Linux needs much more compatibility BEFORE taking on Windows.

I'm not so sure. I believe this happened:

1) MS paid NBC to come to Zune
2) They have the Office, 30 Rock, Heroes, My Name is Earl, Scrubs, ER and Law and Order. Not to mention Friends, Seinfeld and Fraiser. And the old Saturday Night Live (the good seasons) can be put onto their for download.

I'm sorry but this is too expensive. I don't know why Nintendo didn't include rechargeable batteries for their Wiimote with a USB port so you can just plug it into the back of the Wii to charge it. That said I don't know why Nyko didn't do that for this wireless nunchuk.

So what, they're going to make a 120 GB 360 with Blu ray for $499 to compete with the $499 PS3. This HAS to mean that the arcade 360 will finally be $199, the regular 360 will be $299, and the Elite will be $399. Talking about hitting the whole spectrum. Not only will this be great competition against the Wii, it will be great competition for the PS3.

I heard the opposite. I heard that Blu ray is finally making a steak in the DVD to Blu ray movie ratio. The highest seen was Hitman, with around 15% was Blu ray. Its not 50-50 or anything like that but its still a significant change than in the old HD DVD days.

The main issue as to why people don't hook up rear speakers is because they don't want wires going from the front of the room to the back of the room. They need to make some decent Bluetooth rear speakers that can be powered by either rechargeable lithium ion batteries or plugged into the wall. I prefer battery powered, that way you can just hang them off the back wall no worries. And the bluetooth adapter can be hooked to the back of those receiver connections (they draw power so all you need is to plug it in without worrying about the adapter's source of power).

Though you can bridge this device with a bluetooth cellphone to receive phone calls on it, with a $479 dollar price tag the lest I would have expected was cellphone capabilities and 3G. Granted the mobile internet experience is the best, with the best browser and the best features, but with a $479 price tag I was expecting more.
