Here's what you need to know about Microsoft's campus.
Had you gone to buildings 1 through 11, you would have been fine. These buildings are built on a loop and are the center of campus.
As Microsoft expanded, they bought or leased everything they could get their hands on, and this has resulted in a difficult campus to get around in at times.
I am not saying it's great, but you have to understand, it wasn't designed that way from scratch.
I work in building 86, but it can also be called RNB, or Redmond North, building B. Getting a shuttle here is an exercise in futility. These building were recently acquired from Safeco and nobody really seems too sure on what is what yet. So when I'm told to wait for a shuttle at my vestibule, it will depend on the receptionist since they usually send them to RNA which is the next building over. More times than one I have watched my shuttle go driving on by.
Okay, now I'm just rambling. In fairness, had you had the right address and arranged a Microsoft shuttle, you would have been fine.
