"I only ever leave my cellphone at home when I play sports.
As it might break or get lost (I lost one phone ages ago when playing football).
And even then I feel naked...
I guess it's always that feeling of "maybe someone is calling me at this instant about something important" that makes you feel uneasy when you're without your phone."
"I owned 2 ipods (2nd gen, and the 60gb video), and as my latest broke I bought a Zune on ebay, still waiting for it to arrive.
I chose Zune over the ipod classic as it's got a bigger screen (for video), and I've played with the ipod classic and the UI seems more like a downgrade than an upgrade to me.
We'll see if I regret my choice when the Zune arrives ;p"
"@CutePuppyz: That's probably why there's such a high demand in the first place: people who only buy them to sell them off for a profit on ebay..
I mean, no one wants a wii anymore these days, the hype has long gone and most have realized that it was more of a clever innovation which gets boring after a short while."
"nice!
I was looking for a replacement for my older samsung slider, and this seems to be worthy, feature-wise.
120fps video sounds good, but I wonder how good the quality on that really is."
"@trystram:
Looking at the logo on the box (the controller with the vibration lines around it), it seems to have the new DUALSHOCK3 controller bundled ;)"
"@midtoad:
That doesn't really make much sense, I don't see what the relation between the camera's megapixel count and the pixels on the screen have in common.
The pictures are meant to be viewed on a pc or connected to a tv; and/or printed."
"I'm glad I managed to get the update while it was still available
I wonder if the bricking of a couple of systems is the only reason it was pulled out, everyone I talked to didn't seem to have a problem installing it; it seemed to me as a pretty scarcely spread problem.."
"@Dearhaw: that's because apple products are sold at a very high surplus compared to other hardware to begin with.
most apple products are sold with a huge profit margin and lowering the price of a product by 20% after a period of time doesn't lower that margin much; if it even lowers it at all, as manufacturing costs decrease."
"@atomo: I did get the sarcasm (I mean who'd willingly want to run OS X when you can have linux :p) but I thought I'd point the bluray ripping feature out to people who don't know :)"
"@atomo:
You can already rip bluray disks, either via linux or a special 3rd party bootloader called Swiss Army Knife(SAK)
- Demos are installed automatically as long as you don't tell it to download in the background
- NTFS support would be nice, but won't ever happen as it's microsoft."
"@zed0: Well, if it's Softbank's founder who proclaimed that; I guess it's just marketing to get more people to buy one.
You know, because something that's rare is ultimately desirable."
