<![CDATA[strider_mt2k commented on Add an Integrated GPS Receiver to Hackable Dell Mini 9]]> Sorry Gizmodo.

I honestly didn't think you folks'd go for a Mini 9 mod or I would have tipped you this morning!!

As you can see from that thread I've got my own internal USB hub project cooking for mine too.

The Mini 9 is awesome and that is THE website for fans.

<![CDATA[strider_mt2k commented on Canon Lens Completely Disassembled (Result: A Lot of Rings)]]> ...within these rings was bound the strength and will to govern each lens.

-but they were all of them deceived...for another ring was made.
-a master ring, to control all others.

-and into this ring Canon poured it's cruelty, it's malice, and it's will to dominate all photography.

One ring to rule them all.

<![CDATA[strider_mt2k commented on Beer-Filled USB Drive Raises Disturbing Questions]]> Nothing different from the odd drawer full of bizarre erotic novelties in someone's drawer.

The difference is the sheer tonnage of this kind of...flotsam today over when I was a kid.
You wouldn't need a drawer so much as a large dumpster to hold the commensurate amount.

<![CDATA[strider_mt2k commented on Linux Netbooks Are Returned 4X More Than Win XP Versions, Says MSI]]> My experiences left me less than enthusiastic, although Linux is indeed a great thing at heart.

The best thing for me lately has been this little netbook running WinXP.

Sorry, but every computer in my world is running it.
I know it, it knows me. We have an accord.

I can make it work seamlessly with my life and it makes me happy.

Everyone needs to find that for themselves.

(Wow it does make one wax spiritual, don't it?)

Both were cool in their way, but didn't give me what I wanted.

To be honest, my new Netbook seems to be a slam dunk in that area considering it runs emulator so damn well.
