Mine bricked up in a weird way, anytime you played anything, it just showed the frozen screen. I managed to fix it with an increadibly complex unplug and replug.
I certainly would be more into this than LASIK. My mother got LASIK a couple of years ago, and complications because of cataracts have made her vision pretty bad recently. And apparently she could have had this corrected easily with the IOL but because of her previous LASIK, it's not going to be that easy.
@DoctorJezebel: I had Visian implanted into my eye, without removal of my lens. Lens removal is only for cataract patients. The surgery is painless, the only issue is that you have to watch it being performed (you can't close your eyes!) I also had Wavefront LASIK to correct my astigmatism. I just had my 1 year checkup and could still see better than 20/20. I also purchased a lifetime guarantee, so I can get touched up for free for my lifetime.
How sweet would it be to see Lena Headey come back as Sarah, somehow mashing TSCC into T5? Assuming it was made correctly, unlike T4. It could help clarify what happened after the series finale, with Connor starting T5 talking about what happened to his mother. Then Sarah appears with Elison, we can also find out what happened to Weaver (Did she start a machine resistance in the future?). The Cameron "love" interest could also be explored more, with Connor being more like the machines than ever (new heart).
@jayhawk11 hates hangovers: Simple dilution factor, man. More of the same makes it, well, more of the same. Appreciation often works indirectly with availability/accessibility.
7:48: McG: "I'm disappointed in myself that I couldn't make the best movie." Holy shit. He just said he thought he could make a better movie than #1 or #2.
WHHHHHAAAAATTTTTTT!!!
Ok, officially, that dude is a lunatic. Looky here:
#1 Arnold was in those and even the 3rd was weak compared to 1 and 2.
#2 You have to have a relevant and griping story line with motivation to make a better movie that the originals. What exactly could the movie ever be about after 1-3? The story line is shot at this point.
#3 It would take a seriously brilliant script writer to even come close to how intense the originals were and no matter what you do, you can't get the attitude of Arnold back in the movie. Connor is far to serious as the main protagonist to be as fun as the original 2 and let's face it. He's the only shot we have for the lead in the series now.
Sorry you had to sit through that Jason. Thanks for being a good sport for the rest of us.
I took a pretty serious run at some of the gunk that had been accumulating in the grooves around the bezel on my laptop recently. I found a cuetip with a bit or rubbing alchohol was a great go to for those hard to reach spots.
This is unacceptable. Dr. Nick told me that anyone who was anyone always went for that package!
I digress--I thought of that quite simply. Enter any dialogue with McG and I dare you to contrive an imagery either more accurate or less harsh. Can't be done.
@Ozzie's Secret Code Name: MisterWho: That'd be awesome but it'd require over 900,000(or as my friend that enjoys old jokes likes to say, "OVER 9000!") of those copper wires just for a 1280x720 resolution.
Wrong. Acetone isn't the only thing that will clean that residue off your last gen polycarb MacBook.
A Magic Eraser (doesn't have to be Mr. Clean brand - I use Duane Reade brand, about $4 compared to the $6 for Mr. Clean) works wonders. In fact, it works great for the entire MacBook, LCD, keyboard and all. I usually burn through one magic eraser every three months to give my MB a complete mop down. It looks shiny new.
Is it a hard brick or can you get in and downgrade to a prior FW?
I always wonder how shit like this happens--if there was sufficient QA cycles, you wouldn't see this happen as frequently as it does. (See Seagate's debacle of late '08/early '09 for the last round with a bit of a wider impact.)

I mean, anyone who's genuinely interested in something such as this is fairly likely to have a similar inclination--or so I would presume.
Then again, the cynic in me tells me that there's plenty of faux-geeks, pseudonerds and obnoxians who would buy it just for the status.
