Some of your comments seem to suggest that you're living it up, as it were, single and having fun. Other comments seem to suggest otherwise, that you're settled down in some way.
Of course, if the former is true as opposed to the latter, then I'll need to seriously reconsider matters :P ;)

1) Anti-Buick Bias: most likely
2) I was on vacation when they handed them out, much like smarts and good looks: likely
3) I wasn't as awesome as I believed: soooo unlikely

The reason why some of the commenters have stars is because;
1. they have many followers
2.they make educational, knowlegable, and relevant comments
3. not trolling(i wonder why nut..)(just kidding!)

(funny, they annouced that in other gawker sites esp. in Kotaku but not here on giz).

Your star (and NB's star) appear after the list of "Followers" (of which you both have a large number). Maybe the number of followers and the strength of the followers comments earns you the star. Anyway, I'm jealous.
