Yeah, why are you hating on us PC types? Come on now I'm not buying a 360 till next week. You gotta do a PC match but I'll tell you what you get enough people I will host the TF2 server for you. I run one for the XBOX 360 peeps so I'll lock it exclusive for the Giz. Let me know, you have my email.

I'm glad you guys can play. I got it for PC and it doesn't work... crashes every time. But that won't happen on your 360's, so whoop Kotaku's backsides.

But yeah, why not on the PC anyway? Mouse + keyboard control + FPS = awesome. Not so much though with a console controller... not really suited for FPS games.

Yeah, I've played both versions and the PC one is just a lot better. Nothing against my 360 peeps, but TF2 is just better on Steam.

rowan of rohan, I'll play. I'm pretty terrible at TF2, but if you guys want to get together and play more Halo3, I'll be there for that. Well, I'd be there for either, but don't expect much with TF2. Yeah, that's it.

I was excited until I saw the Xbox part. I have played both and the PC side is definitely much better. I can always find 32player matches with little lag, but the few times I tried on the Xbox all I could find were 6 player rooms that were LAAAGGGTASTIC!

@thepounder: If TF2 is crashing why dont you: 1. Turn down your video settings. 2. Update your video drivers if one of those don't fix it then you're screwed.

@GHETTO.CHiLD: Thank you. Unfortunately for me, even though my Lappy fits well within the given specs to run the likes of TF2 it has become apparent that my video card does not play nice with the Source Engine. There's an ongoing discussion on the SteamPowered forums that's almost 200 pages now about the hl2.exe crashing right as the "loading" screen is finishing up.
I even tried the driver update suggestion, as well as various startup mods like the "-dxlevel 81" and various screen sizes. Still no love... I shall just wait to play it till I get home and get my new PC. Thanks again though.

Now I envy that y'all are going to get together and do some organized butt-whoopin.I should maybe get a 360.

Giz, Halo is pretty much the ONLY acceptable FPS on a console, and that's a fluke. Released only for XBOX and adored by hundreds of thousands of grunting frat kids, Halo is the exception, not an example.

Every other FPS needs a keyboard and a mouse, and thus a desk, and therefore an actual chair. An FPS on the couch with two nipple-sticks for all orientation is like sex in the shower.

Great in theory, extremely awkward and unrewarding in practice.

Switch to PCs. If Jobs will lets you.
