Colorware Colors Up iPhones in Style

Want your iPhone in a color other than silver? Apple can't help, but Colorware's got you covered. You saw what a good job they did on on Xbox 360, so there's no reason to think their quality will be anything but spectacular for the iPhone. You can send in your existing iPhone and have them color it up for $149, or buy a pre-colored 4GB for $649 and a 8GB for $749. Not a bad deal if you really want to get an even bigger head start on differentiating yourself from other cellphone users. But if you're being cheap, you can always get a $48 back replacement. $150 bucks to paint a phone? I could see an big gaming console costing $150 for a custom paint job but this seems like highway robbery. And I thought apple was making a killer margin on the phone. I guess they have competition now.

i like that color. Looks good on a Ford GT. Not on an iphone. This is for people with way too much disposable income. To think of the more important uses for money :P

uummm. My name is Kevin and I'm a colorholic. Sorry guys, but I'm a coloware junkie. It's totally expensive, but so sweet with the high gloss paint jobs they do. The way I see it, at least I admit it and I don't smoke crack.

Well, people who paid $600 for a piece-o-crap phone (sorry, imho only), why not spend an extra $150 for a paint job? At least the paint job looks good (not on the colors from the article picture though.... seriously? Baby blue with red apple logo?)
