Slightly sad people who humanize their pets will be hyperventilating at the O2 Dog from AirPress. An oxygen chamber that is identical, apparently, to the ones used in beauty treatments for humans, except for the fact that it is dog-sized.

Oxygen therapy, apparently, reduces wrinkles. So I guess this means that if you put a Shar-pei in the O2 Dog, it will come out as something completely different. [Akihabara News]

if there is one thing i cant stand its pricks who dress up dogs, and treat them like people. they arnt people they are dog, now get that dog out of that gas chamber and take him for a fucking walk!!
That dogs expression is priceless!!! hahahahahahah
It's a trap!
Mike Vick needs to buy some of these for the PETA folks.
He looks explicitly pissed and uncomfortable.
He looks at his owner and thinks "Dude, WTF? How am I supposed to sniff other dogs butts from in here?"
DOG: FFS! last week it was the Channel designer dog clothes now she has given me this gay kennel.
This is SUCH an incredibly bad idea. Because its not just "dog" sized, its baby human sized. Keep an eye out for Britney Spears or some other rich asshat attempting to use this on their children.
@DashTheHand: its oxygen....
This makes me want to go on a murderous rampage.
Looks like I could fit two dogs into that thing." --Michael Vick
obviously this wasn't designed by dog lovers, if it was there would nice plush blanket on the bottom, instead of the cold steel.
I have a better use.
You can fill it with a helium-oxygen atmosphere and see how high pitched your dog can bark.
I bet it'd be harmless animal-cruelty galore.
The expression on the poor dog's face is incredible!! Bloody priceless! :)
Rumor has it (kinda serious here, and only rumor) that this kind of therapy is great for autistic children. I've been told that an autistic child exposed to a slight overpressure and increased O2 can develop almost normally, with some believing to be a cure. Of course, if this were true, we'd have a much smaller problem with autism, but maybe it helps.
@giyad: I'd debate the effects of incorrectly using such a device and administering unhealthy levels of oxygen in a pressurized tank, but if you really can't take the time to at least research the fact that breathing oxygen alone for prolonged amounts of time can be extremely hazardous, theres no point in trying to inform the ignorant.
You have to 'clear' your Eustachian tubes when being pressurized (usually done by valsava maneuver - using your fingers to plug your nose and blowing until your ears clear). Dogs can't do it (no fingers, wet, slippery nose, too stupid) so I believe this chamber would cause excrutiating pain...they can't really complain, though. Maybe that is why the dog looks like that? HAHAHAHHAAA funny!
@DashTheHand:
Actually, breathing oxygen on the surface is not very dangerous at all, even at percentages nearing, or reaching, 100. In fact it is almost completely harmless AND worthless - even if you pay for it in an "oxygen bar".
Oxygen at depth, on the other hand, is potentially lethal. Breathing 100% oxygen even at 60 feet increases your equivalent value to 281% (2.81 ATA's X 100(%)). This could cause oxygen toxicity leading to death after even short periods of time, depending on the subject.
