While nothing can match the horror of workers getting killed by stupid mobs and shootings in the middle of a Toys R Us, we keep receiving horror tales about other Black Fridays gone wrong. The biggest one is about how CompUSA/Tigerdirect online "sale"—the one with the Sony Vaio TT with a $5,000 discount was apparently a total disaster, according to readers. OK, Black Friday has officially gotten out of hand. A 34-year-old WalMart employee was trying to hold back the crowds at a Long Island store this morning at 5am, when they took the doors off their hinges and stormed the store. Fry's MacBook deal may have turned out to be too good to be true, but these sales prices are real: Best Buy and Macmall are offering up to $250 off Macs. Toys 'R' Us Leaks Black Friday Deals
Toys 'R' Us a is building up the hype about their upcoming Black Friday event by giving us a taste of the deals they have in store. Apparently, this year will boast 50% more Doorbusters than last year—a total of 150 from 5am to 1pm on November 28th. Toys 'R' Us will be unveiling 100 of these doorbusters on their website starting on midnight November 26th/27th and in a 24-page circular that will appear in newspapers on Thanksgiving day. An additional 50 "mystery deals" will be unveiled in stores only on Black Friday. Why You Probably Won't Find Amazing Sony Deals for Christmas
