this eye-catching digital signage system consists of a 0.3-millimeter-thick high-luminance rear-projection film (Vikuiti Rear Projection Film developed by 3M) applied to a 3-millimeter-thick glass substrate cut into the shape of a woman. A rear projector beams video onto the film, whose microbead-arrayed surface produces a crisp, brilliant image viewable from any angle, even in brightly lit environments.

That's all well and good, but can she pretend to not be skeeved out by chubby, sweaty dudes who want their pictures taken with her? That's the sign of a real booth babe.
No Booth Babes at E3? WHY Lord, WHY?

Yes, you heard right. If you were counting on those scantily-clad models and strippers for an extra bang at the video game convention E3 this year, it's time to put it back into your pants, sonny boy. The video game industry is apparently trying to change its image, banning these nubile young women from enticing shy, overweight men to various booths and events. But all is not lost, my friends—the women can still be there as long as they're fully clothed. The rules for the 2006 show include a $5000 fine for the booth owner if the women are "semi-clad." The handbook from the Entertainment Software Association, the shows promoter, says:

"Material, including live models, conduct that is sexually explicit and/or sexually provocative, including but not limited to nudity, partial nudity and bathing suit bottoms, are prohibited on the show floor, all common areas, and at any access points to the show."

And if the nudie police do catch you, you'll get a verbal warning and than BAM, smacked with the fine on the next offense. So remember, it's ok to shoot hookers in San Andreas, but bikini-clad women in a convention center is a definite no-no. Thanks, climate of fear and repression!

There's some company at CES that sells stuff and they had these loverly ladies flogging their junk. Luckily, kind reader Kris was able to take a snap of these ladies afore a horde of khaki-wearing IT consultants mobbed them and nearly made off with the blonde one.

This brings up an interesting point: since Team Gizmodo in Las Vegas isn't supplying us with Booth Babe pix, we are calling on you, dear readers/CES-attendees, to do their job for them. Please send in your best booth babe pix to tips at gizmodo com with the subject "BB ATTACK" and you'll get a comment invite. Now go be creepy!
