USB Car & Computer Air Purifier
We love a nice USB gadget as much as the next guy, but we have to draw the line when it comes to USB gadgets for the car. Understood, it can "[circulate] millions of negative ions inside your car or open area", and it can "remove many types of particles & pollutant [sic]", but where the hell are you going to plug this into? Are you going to take your laptop into your car just for this? Well, maybe you can make yourself a portable USB charger. More »

Though camera manufacturers are fond of saying these days that it's not about megapixels any more, don't believe them. HP refreshed its digital camera and printer lineup today with a slew of new offerings but what will likely grab most of the headlines is the Palo Alto-based company's new flagship compact digital camera — the 10-megapixel HP Photosmart R967. The 10MP R967 follows on the heels of the 10MP Casio EX-Z1000, released in April, which was the first compact digital camera to crack the 8MP barrier. Where the HP model eclipses the Casio is in LCD screen size — 3-inches versus 2.8. The HP Photosmart R967 also has a new feature called HP Steady Photo Anti-Shake mode that combines high-sensitivity ISOs with HP imaging technology to help prevent blurred photos. This isn't exactly new though with several other manufacturers offering similar technology with just mixed results. More »

Voicecom Hospital Badges
A hospital in the UK is introducing a communication system that is integrated into the ID badges of employees. The entire system is hands-free and voice activated. Think of it as a walkie-talkie integrated into the ID badge. It functions with a VoIP network over a Wi-Fi connection throughout the hospital. Simply say the person's name or department and you will be connected with them. I bet this might cause some problems with inter-
