    ESPN Mobile: Sports Cellular

espn_logo.jpg imageESPN has announced the launch of ESPN Mobile, a branded reselling of Sprint cellular service that would focus on—wait for it—sports. Set to start sometime in 2005, customers will get streaming sports audio and video in addition to regular news like sports scores and information about the latest murders or rapes committed by pro players.

Sounds cool to me, I guess, although it'd be nice if ESPN Mobile offered the services piecemeal to at least other Sprint customers. I could actually see myself using the streaming audio when out and about—I haven't watched a single Chiefs game this season, mostly because I never have time to watch a game. (Thanks, M!)
