What OS does this phone run? Can I install third party apps?
If not, than this phone will be SOL in less than 3 months when another phone comes out with better functionnality.
Any word on WIFI on this thing?

I am curious to see if it runs Windows Mobile 5/6. If it does, you will have access to tons of third party apps.

Yoshi don't mean to ruin your plans but none of the screenshots show any familiar winmo apps. They may have a very good skin for everything and could still be running WinMo underneath but I'm guessing they went all cheapo on this one and used a large res version of the OS they use on their phones.
I think their idea of an open phone is one that runs J2ME apps.. Yeah right.

Why would you bother posting the cost in US$ Dollars if its not coming ot the states. That number is also based on foriegn currency, and dosnt reflect any price points for the US.

ITS custom not winmo... though the meizu runs WinMo6 with a sexy skin, and also is the first to rock that killer 720x480 3.3" screen ooooohhhh the sexyness i just so home the minione from miezu ends up having wifi ... me needs wifi

What is the MP3 player like?

I was thinking of getting a new Car Stereo with IPOD to link to the IPhone when it comes out, but maybe this could be a more interesting option (and even cheaper, especially when I don't have to pay the premium for iPod connecting stereos)
