LG Electronics just announced the CE500, a clamshell phone with a built-in MP3 player. Cingular's the carrier, and Best Buy will be the exclusive retailer for a limited time. The CE500 comes with a TransFlash memory port, dual speakers with 3D stereo sound, a VGA camera/video recorder with flash, tri-band and EDGE capabilities, a POP3 email client, and access to a variety of IM services. A 64MB TransFlash card is included with the phone, which is good, since they're hyping this as an MP3 phone.

The special Best Buy offer is $99.99 with a two-year Cingular contract. You'll find Another tasty picture of the phone after the jump.
