    Sony Ericsson z800i

Sony Ericsson has officially taken the wraps off the Z800i, a new clamshell that looks to be a lot like (probably even the same as) the Vodafone V800 3G phone. With a 1.3-megapixel camera, a multi-format music player, and a UMTS radio (the high-speed cellular network being deployed, slowly, by Cingular), the Z800 looks like it has potential—Sony Ericsson clamshells get a lot of love from their fans, but I haven't seen any really flip out about a new model in a while. The Z800 isn't tuned for North America networks, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a similar model released here with the proper radios inside.
