Stick with us here. Imagine being able to play a multiplayer game with your buddy no matter what provider he's on. No having to get in Wi-Fi range or hook up some janky cable to his phone, you two can just fire up a game and play. This is exactly what EA's done with their multiplayer Tetris game.
We had high hopes for Microsoft's Live Anywhere to be able to connect cellphones with Xbox 360s and PCs, but information about that's been trickling out like an old man with a prostate problem.

You guys are dumb cuz online multiplayer games for cellphones have been around since 2003. You can play hacked N-GAGE games online against other Nokia cellphone users. Or you can always get one of those honest-to-goodness physical MMC game copies of the last/current generation N-GAGE and lay the smack down on a buddy a million miles away.
Hint: If you or your buddy dont have GPRS to play online, you can tunnel the games via Bluetooth connections on an internet enabled PC (sorry no love for Mac on this one yet).
wow, that comment from superbmtsub should be deleted and forgotten forever. no, mine shouldn't. want to know why? cuz i love Tetris and i think that's a great idea. now, if only i could download it for free on my phone... stupid T-Mobile
I've had Tetris on every phone that could support it.
I still suck, it's just a fun game to play.
