Who Owns the iPhone.org Domain? Who Do You Think?

While we patiently waited for our self-imposed moratorium on Apple posts to be lifted, a tenacious tipster tossed us a tantalizing tidbit: guess what well-known computer company owns the domain known as iPhone.org? Well, it's easy enough to look it up.

After a quick trip to InterNIC we did a Whois search, and what do you know? The domain belongs to some fruit company in Cupertino. Proof that the next phone from Apple will be called iPhone? Naw. But it's a clue, just a little clue.

    Thanks, Mohammed!
