We just told you about the hacked iPhone we spotted on NBC's Saturday Night Live. You can spot the proof around 20 seconds in. The sketch is actually incredibly funny—some of the most edgy material we've seen on SNL in a while. We may even have to start watching regularly again, you know, if they are supporting iPhone freedom and everything. [youtube]

Steve jobs will own them.
I'll support iPhone freedom all you want, just please don't make me watch SNL.
yea..i'm working on some spoofs for these commercials and they're definitely not as lame as this.
Amazing, SNL still sucks, and clips like this remind me of just how much the show has gone down hill since it's last very brief good period.
Oh relax everyone, SNL's not *that* bad.
Keep dreaming of the "glory days" when SNL had you in stitches for the 90 minutes non-stop and everything was solid gold and cookies tasted better.
This week's SNL was actually pretty good. Lots of solid sketches; Brian Williams was surprisingly funny. It wasn't fall-out-of-your-chair fantastic, but the false memories everyone has of SNL's glory days are ridiculous. They're on a pretty good run right now.
Wait, how did he receive an MMS?
PINCH IT!
@bobman1235:
"They're on a pretty good run right now."
Bollocks. SNL hasn't been good for YEARS. In fact, I feel embarrased for them. The last 4 years have been pure shit.
MadTV had a funnier sketch on Master Chief from the Halo Franchise.
Madtv had a funnier Sketch with Master Chief from the Halo franchise this week. I'm amazed it wasn't posted on here.
That's edgy? Wow. Despite currently being on an all time low, I still feel lucky having British TV.
you know what....I laughed alright? Good satire mainly cause his iPhone recieves MMS AND has the installer.
"I wish my wife wasn't preg-a-nant"
Very nice.
SNL used to something you wanted to watch. It's bow worse than an infomercial.
I'm not sure what's edgy about "I'm having an affair and I'm using technology at the same time." I'm sure this sentiment has been around since writing. And the stuff that was going on over telegram would make Porn on the Internet look like a second-hand idea.
Please... edgy is Justin Timberlake singing "Dick in a Box", and they haven't done anything good since.
I know what my dictionary says about edgy, and nothing about that was edgy.
It was funny, certainly. But it sure as hell wasn't edgy.
There's always the 'bricked iphone commercial' video on youtube, too:

@bdkennedy1: I have to disagree, it's been longer than that since they've done anything good.
Wondering how you guys know that it's not funny now since you apparently don't watch SNL anymore. The old "SNL isn't as funny like it used to be" opinions started after the first cast and haven't stopped since.
SNL is funny on and off, like it always has been.
Too bad it's cool to think SNL is bad these days.
Im here only to defent this past weeks SNL, it was the funniest (whole show)ive seen in probobly 20 years.
Pretty much all seasons since the first 2 have really really sucked with some major dips in teh funnay in the 80's-90's...
So this dig at apple and AT&T required 2 seperate posts within minutes of each other?
Good god.
We get it - you want to hack your iPhone.
@dead_red_eyes: Ditto and even the will ferrell days can't hold a candle to the chris farley which further couldn't hold a candle to the great ol' days of dan acroid et-al. I feel sorry for those people who've just started to watch SNL the last few years, it's such a horridly shitty show now. So behind the times, as shows like The Chappell show have proven
@jermjerm: Maybe he got it through, I don't know, full IMAP email?
Maybe this isn't an SNL parody and is just the latest actual iPhone ad that happened to air during the show?
SNL is still on? Wow.
Everything was better before something I didn't see earlier came along.
...
This would be rated, "meh".
I saw that guy at an Apple store once. Maybe it was his real, hacked, iphone.
The only thing that is usually remotely funny on SNL with any kind of consistency would have to be Weekend update. Yet for some reason there was no Brian Willams. Anyway, the problem with SNL isn't really that they suck its just that they haven't too many laugh out loud sketches. Then there are some of their sketches that I don't know how to get.
I mean what the heck, how was the Falconer funny? Its a good thing the writers are going on strike, so maybe the bad ones at SNL will get fired for something that is only barely funny or not at all. Stupid monkeys!
you guys are about as lame as people who don't like a song because its by a certain band. this was a pretty funny sketch. i have four words for you haters "dick in a box"
Well, I still watch every SNL episode and there are always some good laughs. I almost died when Richie Sambora forgot one of his two lines on the Bon Jovi episode.
I agree with the poster above, weekend update is the best part of the show.
This is more pointless then when they said a hacked iphone was on the show. Who cares. I would have believed the last post about how it was on the show, you dont really need to show me the part in the show where the guy has an iphone. Either way I dont really care about the iphone at all, just the fact that its on tv excites all the iphone fanboys, a hacked one and omg lets stop the presses. I guess I would be excited too if I bought an overated, overpriced novelty phone just because it has a touchscreen and apple makes it.
edgy?????? righttttt.
Because promoting poor family values is good thing. Who needs a pesky family anyway, when we have big brother to take care of us.
(and yes i get the joke, it just wasn't "that" funny)
nbc better watch out, jobs may brick them too.
maybe that eould be good thing (blu-ray haters).
Why does everyone think it's soooooo cool to put down SNL! If you don't like it don't watch it, someone must be watching if it's on the air 30+ years!
@AGLA:
just like those who put down mcdonalds.
