Revolution Desk Saves Space With a Fold-Away Workstation

It may not look as hot as the Sync Desktop concept, but the new Revolution Desk provides similar functionality in a product that you can actually own. The simple yet functional design incorporates a unique rotating panel surface that allows for an unobstructed forward view when using the computer, but can completely eliminate the monitor from sight when not in use. And the best part is that the actions are controlled simply by moving the keyboard tray in and out.

The Revolution Desk comes in three sizes—48, 60 and 72-inches as well as a variety of colors. As far as monitor size is concerned it appears that the rotating panel is restricted to 19-inches max, which is a disappointment—but I can still see it becoming popular in both office and domestic settings. If you are into multi-monitor setups, the flipIT Duo Desk may be right up your alley. The desk can accommodate dual 19" monitors or one cinema widescreen display up to a 36" case width. Screen angles can be adjusted to your liking,there are cable ports on both sides, and there is an option of having built-in power strips and / or cable connector boxes. Computer Desk-Bed

For city dwellers tight on space and students in dorms, the Computer Bed combines a computer desk with a bed. A stylish wooden desk by that folds down to reveal a hidden twin sized bed.

Although the bed is useful and practical, it doesn't look very sturdy. Even with the new "metal bed frame" and "wooden slate foundation", a well-fed fellow would probably be too much for the joints and come collapsing down all his equipment.

Computer Desk for Lazybones

I can't remember for the life of me where I found this link, but here it is. Those crazy kids at Thanko are at it again with this computer desk that lets you use your desktop computer in bed. Sure you could use your laptop, but where's the fun in that? Plus apparently you get better posture with a full-on keyboard and monitor layout. It's currently going for about 19,800 Yen ($178 USD), and is most likely a Japan-only product. Which is too bad, because I'm for any invention that lets me be lazier than I already am.
