Audi has produced a concept device that will function as a cellphone, MP3 player, vehicle control system (It can start the car and adjust the music and climate control) and in-car navigation system (as well as locate your car if stolen or lost in a cavernous garage.) That is a lot of functionality under one roof. It appears, after the team let their functionality juices flow, they were fresh out of design ideas because the multi-functioning wonder looks like a rudimentary caveman's instrument for beating prey to a pulp.
It is proposed the gadget will have both Wi-Fi and 3G (UMTS) connectivity, allowing for the appropriate connection in different situations. An onboard camera also allows for photography and theft prevention. At this point it's all up in concept heaven, but if it ever does come to fruition, I'll take one for my imaginary Audi R8, I have been getting rather lost on my imaginary drives around the cosmos; this will be handy. I wonder if it works in Haroon's imaginary land. Of course it does—they should add that to the feature list. [Blogo Wogo]

it appears as though they left you all alone Haroon. Take a peak in the girls bathroom
XD
@discounteggroll: No one's in there either :(
If this concept comes to fruition, they better fix that fugly unit. Otherwise, it seems pretty cool.
Looks like a garage door opener and a TV remote made an ugly baby.
I actually dig the granite look. I would totally trade in iPod/iPhone sleek for a granite/slate style phone. Especially if it were cool and smooth to the touch like slate.
Pretty slick.
Drive by remote, anyone?
The day I can get a cell phone, mp3 player, GPS, ---AND--- Satellite Radio in one device, I'm f-ing set for life. Actually, I'd settle for a cell, mp3, and satellite radio, and I'm praying to see that from xm soon.
Granite is an intrusive igneous rock with at least 60% quartz, at least twice as much potassium feldspar as plagioclase and crystals under one centimeter in size and I am tired of people especially counter top makers calling any rock granite. Slate would be a more accurate description of the apperance.
The very same auto manufacturers you are thinking of are the ones working on a concept device that nearly does it all. It starts with an MP3 player and then adds on Wi-Fi, 3G via UMTS, and so much more. It doubles as a cellular phone too, thus the addition of the 3G connectivity.
@rockboy04: YEA THAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!
@rockboy04: Maybe you should start some class action lawsuits on the grounds of false advertising...I mean if you feel that strongly about it...I'm just saying
Thank you ROCKYBOY. Finally someone who understands! I don't know how people can mistake these rocks. It's easy to distinguish them because granite has an average density of 2.75 gcm−3 and a range of 1.74 gcm−3 to 2.80 gcm−3. How people continue to screw this up is beyond me. It's like confusing a felsic sediment for porphyry. Who does that?!!
@discounteggroll:
it's spelled "peek"

You apple people are all about form over function. Where's the disclaimer on this site that says we're as apple as fox news is republican?
@wrenchmonkey26: I have a bad feeling "peak" is correct in this context.
