RCA EZ201 Camcorder, MemoryMaker: Easy Does It

RCA's CES offerings can be summed up with one word: easy. First up is their next generation Small Wonder digital camcorder, the EZ201. It ships with an hour's worth of recording time on built-in flash memory, but also has a slot for an SD card in case you're marathon recording. A 1.5-inch flip-out LCD lets you monitor the action, and to simplify the complicated "battery" issue the EZ201 runs on two typical AA batteries. It connects to your PC via a folding USB arm and doesn't require any software. $129 will put it in your hands.

This fall, look out for the RCA MemoryMaker, a dock for the EZ201 that allows for DVD recording of your videos with the touch of a button (no PC required). No price point yet, but expect RCA to make it as affordable as possible given the mass-market vibe of the product line.
