Sony Cybershot DSC-T10: Thin, Colorful, Antishake Digicam

Sony's DSC-T10 was just announced just in time to screw up my sleep pattern. It's skinny, like it grew up in The Valley eating sprouts instead of hoagies, although no dimensions have yet been announced. And comes in four pretty colors: Pink, White, Black, and Silver. In other words, the four most benign colors known to mankind.

It ain't just another anorexi-cam, though. It has an ISO rating of 1000 lets it flash its shutter quicker in dim lighting. And an electronic anti-shake algorithm. So, shots through it's 3x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar EUROWHATEVERLENS, should be sharper. On the back there's a 2.5 inch screen. And inside, there's 56 MB of internal memory, which is maybe good for one shot, if its not backed up with a memory stick.

CNET has the best commentary at this point, noting that it adapts the DSC-T30 Cybershot's steadying attributes, while boosting the DCS-T9 Cybershot's megapixel rating from 6 to 7. They also note it'll have to face off against the also image stabilizing Panasonic DMC-FX07 and the Canon PowerShot SD700 IS. (I don't buy that last bit. The T10 is far more svelte.

Every picture we could find, after the jump. (White is by far, the nicest.)
