There's very little that's practical about these paper circuits. Oh, except that they can be printed out as a template and glued directly to a cardboard base. From there, builders can trace markings with wire and the circuit practically builds itself (the link here has some cool music boards for the aspiring eletroneers among you to try out). But in terms of building a personal Batcomputer out of nothing more than processed trees...you might want to invest in technologies that won't go up in flames when the Penguin ashes his cigarette. There's no possibility of fire here at all.
Conductive ink would be pretty cool though.
-of course you can't get it wet...
What? This is pretty lame. You could print out circuit drawings on paper 20 years, or more, ago. I will just assumed I completely missed something and move on.
It's really great to see that "the old ways" are still learned. Like learning Grecco-Roman if you are a UFC fighter. And there are real benefits to "making things happen with your own hands".
You didn't miss anything. This is an old idea (it's cool and all but it's old).
And yeah, there is no risk of fire in the circuit shown. Now if you were running some hot MOSFETs or running massive voltage across the plates of a pair of EL34s then you'd have a problem.
Then again if you were doing this and using this circuit board method you'd deserve anything you might as well go suck on an exhaust pipe.
That's what's inside iPhones... : )
I still want a CNC machine to route out all my circuits.
:@DaveBark: LOL... and inside MacPro's
sounds more like it would be in dellienwarewayaiomebrew PC
I'd like to try this but the link from the blurb goes to a page with crazy backgrounds and a lot of sentences that could use enhancement to their overall coherence, such as, "It is a very touchable bee motorcycle sound maker box"
Also the author won't mind if you "Trade money, food, sound object, or interesting plant specimen to [him]."
I'm just trying to print some PCBs here, not reverse the space time continuum dude, c'mon help me out, quit being crazy
It's all fun and games until someone burns their house down...
Would someone please learn how to hack this thing:
Then you could cut out any shape you want.
