Those man on the street iPhone commercials have inspired a lot of parodies, partially because they're so easy to replicate. SNL did a couple of amusing ones of their own, but YouTube is full of amateur parodies that are just as funny as the ones the pros made. I went through them and picked five of my favorites of the bunch. That one above was made by a guy who was mugged and beat up in Brooklyn for his iPod Touch. When he got home that night, he made that parody video. Yeah, that's the first thing I'd do after getting my ass kicked as well. Hit the jump for four more quality parodies.

#1, #2, and #4 were really good. The third and fifth ones weren't that funny in my opinion.
i agree with everyone else: autoplay SHOULD BE = false.
And do people, including Frucci, really think #1 was a true story...i thought this whole article was about parodies. He probably just had a bunch of warts frozen off, or was in a car accident, or had an allergic reaction, or has a great makeup artist and realized it was a perfect time to do an iPhone parody.

The 3rd one I think I would've actually paid to see on TV. That would have made a great Super Bowl commercial to disturb the crap out of millions of confused football viewers.

@Pender: Eh, it would of been more funny if he looked older. Since the average age is about 36 for Astronaut. Not that there is really any minimum age. Still the reason the average age is 36 is because the NASA now is more likely to take you if you have a degree or two and considerable experience in your field. As for pilot your need about 1000 hours of flying a jet. Which usually means a military background (which means you aren't such a asshole to mission control).
Bottom-line, he's too young and a asshat to boot, but ah well. Besides, who really wants to be an Astronaut? The pay isn't great enough to be risking your life (40,000 and $82,000, but it really depends on how much experience you have and how many degrees), you can earn more in a whole lot of other professions. You'd make more as lawyer in all probability and you don't have the danger of being killed in a fiery explosion.

The space shuttle one got it right, being a complete parody of the commercial where a "pilot" got air traffic control to OK take off based on information gleamed from AccuWeather.com, where the apple widgets get their info from. Where do the internet weather sites other than the Weather Channel get their meteorological readings from? Airports rate highly on their source lists.
Am I a bad man for laughing hysterically at number 3?
