The details are still pretty slim, but DigiTimes is reporting that BenQ is prepping its first UMPC to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. BenQ would be joining the ranks of Sony, Samsung, and Asus, all of which have UMPCs out.
Personally, I've yet to see a UMPC I'd spend my hard-earned cash on (though some have come close), so I'd be more impressed if BenQ strayed from the pack a bit and came out with a radical design instead of more of what we've already seen.
