Look at that midriff! The Cordgo attempts to solve the all-too-common problem of portable electronic device cords wrapping around, tying up and generally being uncooperative as you stroll through SoHo checking out the dames. It stores your device's cord inside its small housing, letting you adjust the cord length to whatever you want, whenever you want. Certainly handy, especially if you find your cords catching onto random objects and passersby.
Thankfully, the Cordgo sells for only $9.95. For a limited time, if you buy one, the company will throw another one in for free.

holy dork batman!
I'll stick with my tangled coolness.
Umm... yeah. I would also rather have a little bit of cordage, than a big dork token
Holy poopoo faces! IF this came in a 2.5mm system for celphones, I would buy 2 (or 1 and get one for free!)
Gimme!
So it's a plastic bottle with a hole in the bottom and a belt clip... right?
The only way this could be less cool is if it happened to be strapped next to a big, dumb cell phone holder on the waistband of a pair of jean shorts. This is the nerd badge of courage.
This would look great next to my oversize leather hipsack. Now I only need to make sure it matches my socks and sandals and I'm all set!
This is absolutely the geekiest thing I have seen in a long time.
Sometimes the solution is worse than the problem.
Love the comments on this device. It is a partical solution to the problem, but there isn't one of us (including me) that will touch it because it looks ridiculously geeky. That said, there are a fair number of us using bluetooth head pieces for our cell phones, and that (IMHO) is far more geeky than this.
Has anyone seen something like this that is spring loaded, so that the cord can be pulled out to the desired length and when not in use it just reels itself back?
Yes it's dorky but my car stereo has RCA inputs that I use to connect my Zen Microphoto. The only problem is that if I stuff most of the cord behind the dash then it's to short for me to see the screen and use the controls. And if I leave the cord long enough to make it usefull then I have this long cord hanging all over the place.
Being a "geek" CPA, this would be the perfect compliment to my pocket protector! Har Har!
@thoruen: I've not seen anything like this for the portable devices, but the cord that came keypad that I use with my laptop has this feature. I wonder if something like that could be "hacked."
Hmm, didn't I just see something over on Lifehacker on selling my idea to investors?? Hey, I gotta go now...
