The Skype-happy Cordless DUALPhone is finally going to be available in the U.S of A. RTX America is set to begin selling the handset on Monday, August 22nd. Here is a refresher on the DUALphone: It combines an ordinary handset and an Internet phone in one device. The DUAL connects to a PC via USB, and the handset screen shows which of your Skype contacts are online so you can easily select a name, hit the appropriate call button and gibber away. Best of all, it plugs into the wall so the telephone company can continue gouging you just like it always has.
