    Electronic Homing Pigeon

The price of admission for GPS navigation keeps dropping, and now we hear about the NaviGPS, a $97 unit you can strap to your arm or latch onto your bicycle, and off you go. This little electronic homing pigeon will tell you which way you're going and how far it is to your destination, along with when you'll get there. This compact unit, which is scarcely bigger than a credit card, will run for 32 hours on a charge as long as you don't use the backlight. The thing is so waterproof it even floats. Great for those outdoorsy types who can't figure out whether they're on foot or on horseback.
