It wasn't the kind of grand announcement we were expecting, but Isabel Aguilera, CEO of Google Spain and Portugal, has supposedly spilled the beans on the GPhone, confirming for the world that our favorite search engine is indeed working on a mobile. She also mentioned they were working on 18 other projects, many of which could initially appear strange, but would ultimately be in line with Google's whole innovation motto. Why Aguilera would bypass Google HQ and release info on the GPhone is beyond me, so we're not 100% convinced yet, and you shouldn't be either. Call us skeptical, but we'll become believers once there's an official announcement, not a thread of "could be" quotes.

that looks like one slick piece of kit!
I think it's the sheeeeeeeeit in a good way.=0}
I'll take this over the iPhone any day of the week.
Just give us the damn thing! Personally, I am more excited at a proposed phone from Google, than anything from someone else. i, z, or river... to be your prefix's of choice.
Please, please don't pay him any attention, (He's from Barcelona).
Manuel? (WHAP!)
well.... reading the spanish piece of news in noticias.com, this translate as a conditional sentence, not affirmative, she says that google might have been working on a phone among other projects; and that this could be related with infomration access in under-develop economies.
my pinch of salt. the mere fact that she discuss this is weird.
Not my fawlty strider!
Manuel
