    Hello Kitty Belt Sander

    Some contestants in the 2006 New England Belt Sander Racing Association Winter Nationals created—and raced—a Hello Kitty-themed belt-sander. The sander, originally an industrial DeWalt, is now topped with a blushing Hello Kitty and pink and white logos and safety grating. While the sander did win Rookie of the Year, shown above with its handsome trophy, it failed to win against a more masculine collection of sanders.
