Hi. This is David Blaine...? I'll take 10.
What happens when you want to read the book on the bottom?
why would you want to read?
Maybe he likes to put his favorite blogs into book form.
Why would you want to buy it from Europe for twice the price and three times the shipping? http://www.umbra.com/ustore/product.do?product=330637&colo...
I'm having a blonde moment: how does it work? Wouldn't the back cover of the first back not stay up?
good call kennedy. especially compared to the DUI the other night
it's nice to know that "Franck Fontana thinks again the fire with all his objects witch speak at our memorie, at our sens and bewitch everyday." with respect to this interesting item: http://www.singulier.com/boutique_us/fiche_produit.cfm?typ... It's hard to disagree that these matches are a "Very beautiful object to put it on the grate!"
Noskills has a point. How does the back cover of the bottom book stay closed underneath the metal bracket? Maybe there's a very small notch that it slides into at the back of the unit. Just enought to keep it closed. Or maybe its sticky tape on the bottom of the bracket. Or maybe! MAYBE its just magic....
I'm sure you have to use crazy glue for the bottom book. Simple!
I assume the bottom book is pushed against the wall, and the weight of the books on top of it keeps it there, so the cover cannot fall down because its edge is pinned against the wall. Of course, that means the bottom book has to be hardback. But then, I suppose it would need to be anyway to support the books on top well enough.
Maybe the bracket has a little folded ridge just below the main support for the book. The bottom cover would slot into that ridge and the weight of the books holds it in place. Should be easy to make yourself. mmmm maybe if...
One of us needs to buy one of these .....
Bunch of thieves ! I've already got one of these ... had it for a while. Check it out, in its original style from here in the US. Click here
