If God made me choose between food and electronics, I would choose food (only because without it I would die about a week sooner than I'd die without my television). However, if such a completely moderately hypothetical travesty occurred, I would eat more food that looked like electronics to fill the hole in my half-cyborg, half-chocolate heart.
After reading my Techie Cake post, reader Sarah (probably out of her concern for my well-being should I be caught in a hypothetical food/electronic travesty) sent us this picture of her NES controller cake. Thanks Sarah, but I hope you brought enough to share with the rest of Gizmodo.

Do I also see Nintendo Power Mints in the NES controller shape? I have some still. I bought them while I was getting an Areo Bar, Marmite and Digestive fibre Biscuits at the foriegn food store. I know they aren't foriegn as they are made in Chinia for the US (I live in the US now) but the propritor liked them and decided to include them.
Kudos on the cake. Nice to see a fellow admirer of food and well designed electronic retro goodness.
MMM
Hope you have some cold milk handy...
Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, lick fingers.
Nice Quixot. You beat me to the punch, or cake... whatever.
What, there's punch too?
Yes, Punch-Out.
