The Rollerfeeder keeps those squirrels out of the bird feed like a bouncer behind a velvet rope, using a clever design that keeps the seed container upright while the outer shell spins around on an axle. Lightweight birds won't affect it, but once a heavier squirrel steps aboard, it starts spinning, resulting in a flying rodent face-plant.
As the birds in the area chuckle to themselves, the weighted bottom rights the seed container, ready for the next bird banquet. Just might be 80 bucks' worth of fun to watch. But remind me, why do we hate squirrels so much anyway?

The Yankee flipper is sooooo much more entertainment.
The sqyrulle trap i made is better, it go in trap door, and never comes out unless you open another doro with a key...free pet!!!
That's a hoot!
We don't hate squirrels, but they are opportunistic when it comes to food supplies.
Agreed.
I'd still prefer the bug zapper and a 6 pack.
I'd still prefer the bug zapper and a 6 pack...
I'd rather have a squirrel feeder.. all birds do is flap around, make noise and crap on my car.
No. We hate squirrels. No good tree rats.
I have a squirrel proof shotgun somewhere...
My favorite part of the story (err, headline) is the Circuit City image next to - can I buy Squirrel-proof Rollerfeeder at CC?
Seriously, are these dumb images context-tagged? I also think it's annoying seeing a Zune logo next to 9 out of 10 stories. We get it.
I put 2 large rat traps on top of my feeder. When the squirrel comes to feed he jumps on top of the feeder and BAM! I haven't caught him yet, but the traps have gone off and scared him away. I long to some home and find him dangling from one of them, the bastard.
Bitfactory: Not to mention those Zune signs next to the iPod stories... even funnier ;)
I'm sure this works really well until the weight of snow offsets the counterbalance or ice freezes the feeder in position and the squirrels have a feast.
Wait until they team up and balance the thing with one squirrel on each side.
My high school mascot was a red squirrel. :-)
no we hate squirrels. squirrels laugh at us.
sent it! sent it!

How long until the squirrel figures out that it can hang on to the metal bar at the side, which holds the rolling feeder, and can simply reach around and grab the food?
I'm with Maksimir. At least squirrels are cute fluffy mammals, not some leftover dinosaur descendant.
We have a couple of bird-proof squirrel feeders.
I like squirrels. Good target practice...
It's like they say on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour..."I got my sister a new entertainment center, two bird feeders and a pellet gun."
does this catch the squirrel so i can eat it later? if no, this yokel says "nay" to this product.
actually the Zune logos ONLY appear next to ipod or apple-related stories. i find that hilarious.
i don't mind the ad-tags on the headlines... 9 out of 10 times they make me laugh.
... and 83% of all statistics are made up.
I'm with Maksimir as well.
Squirrels don't crap on my car... birds do. Squirrels don't wake me up at 5am with their incessant racket... birds do. Squirrels are fuzzy, cute and a blast to watch... birds are good as deep fried nuggets and with buffalo sauce.
I like squirrels more than I like birds, birds wake me up way to fucking early chirping, squirrels don't do shit too me.
I love having squirrels in my garden, but they can empty a feeder in about 5 minutes flat. I now have a bird feeding system that keeps the out of the feeders, but they get plenty of food from the stuff the birds drop.
Yes, but squirrels aren't colorful and have a nice song. Then again, neither are half the birds that are usually attracted to bird feeders in the first place. We had a family of cardinals at our house a few years ago and the seed we left them attracted a lot of annoying sparrows as well. We ended up just leaving out the sunflower seeds which the smaller birds couldn't eat and therefore didn't bother with.
