it looks like the person went through a shoe fetish phase and then tried to make the best of it.
Hate to be anal, but if an irate neighbor were responsible for the heels slammed through the wall, they would be upside down, unless he was using his anti-grav boots to walk on the ceiling when he was violating the wall.
