The Sudokube is exactly what it sounds, and looks like. This little mind-puzzle combines a favorite puzzle game with an age-old mind boggler, the rubik's cube. The lack of colored tiles makes it very color-blind friendly! $10.
On a related note; you know what really grinds my gears? The fact that I still have a rubik's cube sitting on my desk unfinished, but a 3-year-old can do it in 114 seconds. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just a superchild? Stupid kid and its stupid super smartness.

There's tons of "learn to solve" rubik's cube tutorials online. You just need to learn a few steps and conditions and you can solve a cube in 1-2 minutes easily.
Solving them in under 30 seconds stars to require some really complex algorithms though.
There is a method to the madness. You can watch "how to" videos on YouTube or read tutorials online. There are certain things you have to look for and you have to do things in a certain order to get it to work right.
Don't give up! My friend did some research on it and now he can do it in like 5 to 10 minutes!
I wonder if scrag thinks metalhaze's friend isn't very bright....
I got one of these sudoku rubiks puzzles given to me for christmas and lets just say, this thing is extremely hard.
While colored rubiks have easily recognizable goals and can be solved using the above mentioned guides, this thing is a few exponential steps beyond!
I can solve a normal cube in a few minutes, this thing would literally take hours using similar methods. It would take a savant or an autistic person to solve very quickly.
I gave up on it and using the old smash and put together cheat technique I got it reset. It still took me a good 45 minutes to put it together while cheating!
great!
two things I really detest combined into something more than twice as bad as each - when considered seperately.
the total worth more than the sum of the components and in a fetching black.
let's waste another 20% of our hard earned free time on this POS.
The normal cube is easy, and as long as you know the trick to this one it's not so bad either. I got one for Christmas and had it fixed in 10 minutes or so.
wow! that cube must have 9 faces!
I started watching that kid in the linked video - the cube was partially solved before she started. It looked like the red face was done, and there were three solid stripes on the top. As she turned, it looked like the yellow face was done already, too.
There's no way I'd buy this. I'd just end up using the Craftsman method on it.
/Sears is love
My friend got one of these, the build quality is awful. It always feels like it's going to break. And it did. He dropped standing up once and it blew up on the floor. It looked pretty awesome though.
I have one of those. Its a piece of junk and it doesnt turn well...but its solvable. I can solve a normal 3x3x3 in about 50 seconds....but this one takes me about 3 minuets(mostly because its hard to keep track of). Its not as hard as you think once you know how to do it...its just really really annoying to do because the quality is shit. It would be more fun to learn how to solve a 4x4x4
