Buying the latest crap shouldn't be the way to get the girl. People liked a man who was handy around the house because he had skills, skills you can't just buy. He speaks of being able to set up your girl's wifi, which is a skill, but then goes on to basically advocate buying a whole bunch of expensive, chic speakers and coffee pots and doodads. A vaccuum is a vaccuum. It sucks up dirt? Perfect. What ever happened to people liking others for personality and not how big your iPod hard drive is?

To all the geeks out there (yes, I'm one too and proud of it), read up on non-tech matters. Become a better conversationalist on a broader topic base (read: politics, philosophy, etc.) and improve your wit. Clean up your appearance, but no need to go to extremes, no sense in dressing in an Armani if that's not who you are. Get a girl who likes you for you, not your stuff, and lasting relationships, hopefully true love, will follow.
