TRON Disc or Frisbee?

I have friends who like to play Ultimate Frisbee, which seems like a kind of silly game, but I guess now they can play it at night (perhaps in a spooky graveyard!) with this light-up frisbee. It comes in red, green, and blue, and will allow you to destroy Master Control with a few well-placed shots.

    nothin new, they have had the LED discs for a while now. You can get Red and Green LED headbands as well so you can see your team. Done it for a couple years now.

    Yeah, we've all seen LED discs before, what we need are some LSD discs. Then you can play Ultimate Frisbee all by yourself.

    I've got one of these — a colour-cycling one from ThinkGeek — and it is pretty cool. It feels like an ultrastar: it's comfortable to hold and it's got a good rim so you can throw forehands and hammers. Downsides — there are "veins' along the underside (you can see them in the top-down picture of the blue disc). They don't cause a big problem, but you might find yourself pausing a moment to adjust the disc so your fingers are in the gap between them. Also, it didn't feel like it flew as far as an ultrastar would. Although this is just my subjective impression — I haven't actually done any side-by-side comparisons.
