UK Carry-On Restrictions Eased, Gadget Lovers Rejoice

laptopplanesok.jpgThe UK terror alert level was downgraded to "severe" from "critical", which means our buddies overseas will once again be able to take their laptops and iPods onboard to pass the time. However, liquids, fluids, and gels are still not allowed on carry-ons, and baby milk and baby food has to be "tasted by the accompanying passenger".

So, good news for gadget fans, but bad news for babies, since if you really wanted to smuggle something on board for nefarious reasons, you probably wouldn't care if the baby swallowed some of it.
