Previously available only in Europe, the ViaMichelin X-930 GPS nav system has been brought over to the states for all your not-getting-lost needs. Nice and small, it's got a 3.5-inch touch screen and weighs in at less than 5 ounces. There's the standard automated voice telling you which way to turn and it comes loaded with street-level maps for the whole country.
It's available at J&R now for $280. If you're still without GPS nav this looks to be a nice little option for those of you who like taking the unit with you when you get out of the car.
