My Black DS looks like crap compared that that gold, I wish I could trade in my Black for the gold or silver systems.

-but seriously, I think that has more to do with my advancing age and attitude towards gaming than any particular failing of the DS.

I just don't have the need to lose myself in gaming so much anymore. Reality has gotten quite cool and I'm enjoying it more than in the past. ;)

That being said, I can still do Enemy Territory QUAKE Wars for hours at a clip. (pardon the pun)
That's something my bro-in-law and I do a few times a week, so I'm getting my fix there I think.

Hmmm. Choices, choices. My girlfriend annexed my red and black DS, meaning I may have to pick up a new DS.

Do I take back my red-and-black and give her a gold DS? Do I get a gold DS and let her have the red-and-black? Do we share the red-and-black because I still have my 360 and she plays the DS more than me anyway?

I played one of these recently. By comparison, I can't believe I once strained my eyes for hours at a time on the Gameboy.

Green on green monochromatic scheme, no backlighting, and the thing weighed as much as a cement brick.
