This Volkswagen Bus modded as a pool table must be one of the best car mods ever developed. Finished in classic white and burgundy, with wood and felt top, the owner says that he bought it from another guy for $8,000 which probably have been puffed away in weed smoke by now. It was part of Detroit's Woodward Dream Cruise, the largest single-day classic car event in the world. Our auto-obsessed brother site has all the action here. Pointless? POINTLESS?!
Ok, it IS pointless, but it's the best pool table ever.
Keeping the table level, everytime you move it, must be a pain in the butt.
whats really cool is how the picture fades in from BW to full color.
Thats worthy of comment
Do you level it by adjusting tire pressure?
Levels table with tyre pressure?
Cool, but not so fun to be trying to take a shot from the far end, where you have to stretch across the rounded VW logo.
@cwcole: I was thinking the same thing. Unless they have some fancy method for leveling the table, it is nothing more than a conversation piece since playing a game of pool on an unlevel pool table is torture. Honestly, one of the reasons I never move my pool table (ignoring the fact it is heavy and there is no other place to put it) is because I would have to re-level the sucker -- and that is extremely time consuming.
Needs a fridge / cooler as a place for beer.
would be more fun if they had been able to keep the sucker's engine and steering wheel attached. On the leveling issue... maybe it has hydraulic pegs underneath that make leveling a breeze. or maybe not.
To me it's just a waste of a nice WV bus
I'm with Drezio..
What a waste of a splitty.
A decent set of coilovers'll help keep things level.
Do the pocketed billiard balls roll out the exhaust pipe?
It looks more like a coffin.
Add steering wheels and we can play anywhere on town.
