Rumormill: Motorola H5 Miniblue Getting Canned?

Boy howdy! It is still early in the day and the rumormill is already churning. Bluetomorrow is reporting that the Motorola H5 Miniblue Bluetooth headset buttplug may be getting canned due audio quality issues.

This is really just becoming a case of the horse's ass versus the horse's mouth. Forumites and online cellular accessory retailers are saying yes, that the cancellation is true. But a Motorola PR junkie told Bluetomorrow no and that the H5 is in it's final stages of production—nearly seven month after its debut. Honestly, would a PR person even be able to confirm a major hardware cancellation? Probably not, but then again, what the hell do forum trolls and third-rate cellular accessory stores know? – Travis Hudson

Sony Births Cyber-Shot H5 and T30

When we're hiding in the bushes to try to take a few quick snaps of our neighbor in the shower, the one thing we wish our camera has is a bigger LCD. That way, we would be able to take less shots and get what we needed the first time.

After explaining to the police how it was all a misunderstanding, we went home to find news of the new DSC-T30 and DSC-H5. Both cameras feature a 7.2 megapixel resolution, while the T30 has a 3x optical zoom and the H5 is a DSLR with 12x optical zoom. The former drops April 21st, and the latter, May 19th. Good news for us, bad news for Mrs. Wilson.

Motorola H5 Headset Reviewed (Verdict: Super Tiny)

I think we're going to take a page from BengalBoy and run our own cheesecake reviews of stuff. I can imagine it now—Intern Travis or Kangol Charlie in a bed, Speedo straining, and a ThunderDock glistening in their hands. What? No, come back. It won't happen. Sorry.

Anyway, here we see the H5 in the wild. While the review is comparatively thorough, anything that includes the phrase "Celestrelle's ears are super-tiny, guys!!" might not quite be following all the due diligence we geeks need in a review. Otherwise, there are some pretty ladies in there, which is nice.

Live From CES: Motorola H5 Miniblue

Moto showed a futuristic Bluetooth earpiece called the H5 Miniblue today. It's an in-ear speaker, about the diameter of a quarter, and it picks up your voice through your ear canal. It comes with a charging base that has a rechargeable battery inside. So you can plug in the base, charge it up, then unplug it and put the earpiece in there to charge while you are on the run. The earpiece itself gets only 1.5 hours of talk time, but it will fully recharge after 20 minutes in the base.

Motorola H5: Headset or Butt-Plug - You Decide

Motorola is showing off their tiny, in-ear headset at CES. The wee fella is about as big—and cute—as a button and doesn't have a strange boom mic hanging off of it to add to my "moron on the go" look.

The H5 sequesters itself into your ear canal and picks up audio via the bones in your head, leaving your hands free for driving and slaughtering the Spring lambs.
